In fact, it aims to highlight this name for national historicism, in order to put it back in the academic annals because of its trajectory, by witnessing and starring in various events when it comes to the Brazilian political-partisan system. It is attentive to the reflexes of authoritarianism institutionalized in the dictatorial period, that influenced in the configuration of the electoral system spread by the ‘‘Presidentialism of Coalition’’, and propagated by the Democratic State of Right. Elements of corruption are analyzed; of party fragmentation; the criminalization of politics; of conservative social advance; of the institutional crisis afflicting the three (3) powers; and judicial activism through the conceptual lens of ‘‘Lawfare’’. Positions are seen referring to the constitutional principles that guide the theme, as well as the positioning of jurists and researchers.
