Book DIREITO, POLÍTICA E DEMOCRACIA: Reflexões sobre a reforma do sistema político (Editor: Eneida Desiree Salgado)

Authors:

Claudio Roberto Barbosa Filho and Vitor André Brandão Müller

Abstract:

Identifying the practice of lobbying groups in the country’s legislative bodies is necessary to delineate the idea of lobbying and demystify, academically and popularly, this activity, understanding it as lawful and structuring republican processes. Although little explored in Brazilian literature, discussions on regulation through legislative activity date back more than twenty years. In this sense, the objective of this work is, through the bibliographic method, to outline general regulatory perspectives, defending the idea that legislative intervention is necessary and should be carried out to a low degree. In addition, to understand, through the bills already presented, observed in the consulted bibliography, an essential core of the possible regulatory framework, in order to observe the future impacts and weigh the costs and benefits in favor of the greatest possible effectiveness from the point of view defended.
