Abstract:
These lessons aim to meet the current demands of the discipline of Economic Law. Hence the emphasis given to the European dimension of the legal order of the economy in Portugal, as well as to areas that today play a decisive role in its regulation and configuration (e.g., the monetary and financial order, competition and cooperation relations between companies, the regulation of quality and information, or the environmental impacts of economic activity). The structure and discourse adopted reflect a fundamentally academic and pedagogical concern. There was also the intention that the book would be useful to all those in legal, political, economic, business, or media circles who feel the need for a simultaneously theoretical and practical approach to the institutional framework of economic activity and public regulation.
