O setor da construção civil registrou o sétimo declínio mensal consecutivo no nível do emprego. Em abril, foram fechados 25,4 mil postos de trabalho, o que representa um recuo de 0,78% na comparação com março,conforme informa a coluna Mercado Aberto, da Folha de S.Paulo. A projeção é a de que 10% do total das vagas sejam fechadas neste ano. No fim de 2014, eram 3,3 milhões de pessoas empregadas pelo setor.
